![]() Counselling Psychology in Ipswich, Suffolk, East AngliaLilian Power is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered and accredited by the British Psychological Society. She is registered with the Health Professions Council as a Chartered Counselling Psychologist.Lilian has a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Surrey(Roehampton 1988)and a Diploma in Psychology (Open University 1994), as well as a first Degree in Social Science/Politics (BA Hons.University of York 1967) and an MSc in Development Economics from the University of London (SOAS 1968). She was an accredited Student Counsellor to the Association of University and College Counsellors and an Accredited Counsellor to the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists. She has been practising as a counsellor, psychologist and psychotherapist since 1986 and full-time both employed as a student counsellor and in private practice since 1990. Lilian has worked as a psychologist in private practice for over nineteen years with a very wide range of patients, employee assistance programmes, insurance and rehabilitation companies. She has also acted as a consultant for a number of commercial, public sector and voluntary organizations to set up Employee Assistance Programmes and/or recruit staff. For the past three years, Lilian has worked extensively with individuals involved in care proceedings for Family Courts. She regularly prepares reports as part of those proceedings and has acted as a professional witness in the Family Division in the High Court. She has successfully completed the British Psychological Society Expert Witness Training programme. |
